We are seeking a Senior Pastor to lead our church after the retirement of our former pastor. Our purpose is to lead people to become fully devoted Christ followers. Membership – God wants everyone to become an active member of Christ by trusting Christ as Savior and becoming a part of a local church fellowship;
Maturity – God wants everyone to grow up in their faith and learn more about Him so they will be better able to serve Him;
Ministry – God wants everyone to grow up in our faith and learn more about Him so that they will be able to serve Him;
Mission – God wants everyone to be a part of taking the Good News of His love and forgiveness that is found in Christ to others around the corner and around the world; Magnification – God wants everyone to celebrate His presence in our lives by worshiping Him with other Christ-followers at church.

Organizationally, the role of the Senior Pastor will give oversight to the pastoral and administrative staff, encouraging unity, exhorting in love, and leading staff to focus upon equipping the congregation for ministry. In addition, the Senior Pastor will serve as an elder on the PSBC Elder Board.
Basic Position Qualifications
This person must meet all the qualifications of an Elder as found in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1.
In addition, the person in this position needs to have the following:
• Education – minimum of a Masters degree (Th M., M Div preferred) from an accredited conservative seminary;
• Experience – minimum 5 years experience as an associate pastor, senior pastor, or equivalent ministry position; and
• Execution – sound understanding of the Scriptures with the ability to preach/teach clearly and effectively with a heavy emphasis on practical application.
