In this meeting, it was announced that the board has appointed Dr. Randy MacFarland to serve as acting president beginning July 1, 2008. Dr. MacFarland's role will continue until an interim president is appointed by the Search Advisory Committee. Craig Williford will retain the title of president until the effective date of his resignation on July 31, 2008.

Dr. MacFarland humbly accepted this appointment stating, "We are thankful to Craig for his direction for the last eight years, and we are excited that Denver Seminary's mission of equipping leaders will continue. While we acknowledge that the Seminary is heading into a new season, we look forward to building on the good foundation established under Craig's leadership."
