Some teachers have motor bikes where they can get there almost every weekend and the Puncak tea plantation is about 45 minutes ride.   <description>Hope Christian High School is a non stock, non profit institution and is accredited in all levels by the Association of Christian Schools, Colleges and Universities Accrediting Agency (ACSCU-AAI) since 1989.  Currently, Hope Christian High School has a population of more than 1,000 students from Preschool, Primary and Secondary level.  Our students are mainly from Chinese descent or with a mixture of Filipino descent.  The school also has increasing student migrants from China, and Taiwan.  

The school is now seeking full time ESL TEACHERS to help our new student migrants be mainstreamed into regular classes.  The ESL teacher will help our students migrants acquire the necessary speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills of the English language.

We are also looking for BIBLE TEACHERS who can teach Bible classes and speak in our chapel services.  The Bible teacher will also prepare and implement a year round program of student activities for the spiritual development and growth of the students and school staff.

Qualifications:
•	Growing Christian
•	For ESL teachers: Degree in TESOL, Applied Linguistics or related field
•	For Bible teachers: Degree in Youth Ministry, Christian Education, or related field

Our seminary is a mission seminary that has been educating Europeans, Africans, and Asians primarily for nearly 25 years.  We are accredited through the European Evangelical Accrediting Association.

At Tyndale Theological Seminary we are training international Christian leaders with a 3 year Master of Divinity and a 2 year Master of Theology degree.  Our student body is diverse.  We have 36 full time students from countries such as Holland, Ukraine, Serbia, Romania, Ghana, Nigeria, Liberia, Cameroon, India, China, Singapore, and Canada.  Over the 25 years that the seminary has been in existence, we have graduated over 250 students to return to over 60 different countries.

DIRECTOR OF CHRISTIAN EDUCATION

Ministry Focus:  Ministries of the church that involve Christian Education, Program and Leadership Development.

Relationships:  The Director of Christian Education and Leadership Development shall be a full-time staff member of the church and serve under the direction of the Christian Education Department and the senior pastor.  He/She shall be an ex-officio member of the Christian Education department and committees to which he/she is assigned by the senior pastor.

Qualifications:  The Director of Christian Education and Leadership Development shall be a strong mature Christian.  He/She shall have as a minimum a Bachelors degree in related fields with additional training or experience in program and leadership development. He/She should have the ability to work with people and coordinate ministries and programs within the church that involve all aspects of Christian Education.

Responsibilities:  The Director of Christian Education and Leadership Development responsibilities shall include:

•	Work closely with the Christian Education Department to develop all aspects of the Christian Education ministry of the church.
•	Encourage people to explore and use their spiritual gifts; equipping leaders, volunteers and teams through training and support.
•	Assist the Christian Education Department in providing leadership development training for church leaders.
•	Assume other responsibilities as assigned by the senior pastor in keeping with the scope of this job description.
•	Work closely with the Sunday School Superintendents to enhance Christian Education opportunities for children and families.
•	Work with the Christian Education Department to implement Year-Round programs for Christian Education.
•	Assist in curriculum development that benefits children and families.
•	Research new and additional materials for Sunday School and Small Groups.
•	Create new programs for children and families as the need/opportunity arises.
•	Develop and implement innovative ways to make Christian Education more effective through continuing education.
•	Assist in identifying, recruiting and equipping leaders/teachers for Sunday School and Small Groups.
•	Be an advocate within the church for Christian Education



Work Week:
This position will be based on a minimum of a flexible 40 hour work week as determined through consultation with the Pastoral Staff.
