<title>Craiova, South of Romania, Europe: Associate Pastor at Christian Baptist Church Sacrifice Romania</title>
  <description>Hello,

My name is Damaris, I am from Romania from the south part of the country in Eastern Europe. I am in my last year in Medical School, studying to become a doctor. My father, George, is a pastor at the Christian Baptist Church &quot;Sacrifice &quot;from Craiova -this is the name of the city that has almost 500 000 inhabitants. Also, my father pastors other 3 churches close to our city, a Romanian church and a Gypsy church and he is working at the building church, too in Craiova. The reason I am writing is that my father is looking for an assistant pastor to help him in all this churches. There are so many things that can be known about our country and the city we live in. Ministry here is challenging and wonderful at the same time. Our church from Craiova has about 80 people and the other 3 are smaller. Christianity in our area is below 2%, so &quot;the field is ready&quot;. In the same time we are building a building church as I mentioned, for different activities, because my father and i are trying to change as much as we can people's mentality about real Christians. Most of our country is Greek orthodox, but just by name, because they go 2-3 times per year to church, and tradition is very strong here.
My father is a great person, very open minded and ready to work together with an assistant pastor. Everything that he does is just according to the Bible and he loves God's Ministry more than anything in the world.
Few things about him. His name is George He is 49 years old. He graduated Agriculture University, then Theological Seminary, Master of Arts and Master of Divinity in Austria and now he is writing his PhD in History and Theology .
So, please in case there are young pastors that want to get involved and Minister here in Romania , they are very welcomed.
Don't hesitate to contact us.
Thank you very much and God bless you richly !

In Christ,
Damaris

<title>Medford, NJ: Pastor of Small Groups at Fellowship Alliance Chapel - Medford, New Jersey</title>
  <description>Overview
In southern New Jersey, twenty-five miles east of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is a dynamic church with a God-sized vision. Since it’s beginning in 1980 as a small group in the pastor’s home, Fellowship Alliance Chapel has served the community. Today their involvement and service has resulted in many changed lives and a reputation as a church that cares and meets needs. As they prepare to begin a building project that will expand their crowded facilities and parking onto more than 100 acres, it is with a commitment to serve the area through the development of spaces the surrounding communities can also use.

The Kingdom Vision Expansion Campaign asks “Can You See It?” The church family believes the promise of Isaiah 43:19 where God states, “For I am about to do a brand new thing. See I have already begun. Do you not see it?” God has blessed this vision as land has been purchased and construction plans are developed. Through many sacrificial gifts the church has put action to their faith and opened the eyes of many people inside and outside the church. As final plans are being prepared, it is apparent that Fellowship Alliance Chapel (www.faconline.org) has a big vision of a “new thing” happening in their midst. They see the future with anticipation and expectation of even greater opportunities.

Opportunity
Into this exciting environment the church is seeking a Pastor of Small Groups to deepen the large family of believers in their walk with God. To quote Senior Pastor Marty Berglund, “…our mission is clear: we want to help people know God's call on their lives, and we want to help them follow that call. To do this, we emphasize connections: Connecting to God, to His People, and to His Work.” The church emphasizes that the best way to connect to His People is through participating in a small group!

Right now, being in a small group or “mini-church,” is with the expectation of going deeper with believers in living out the “one-anothers” of the New Testament. There is accountability and spiritual nourishment in the mini-churches that is not available in the larger church services. Having the ability and passion to expand this priority for all adults at Fellowship Alliance Chapel is essential for the Pastor of Small Groups. With the weekly worship attendance at 2200 (one Saturday evening service and three Sunday morning services), there are currently 44 mini-churches. The multiplication of groups, training of new leaders, and building of an ongoing process for involvement is essential as the church continues to grow.

As this expansion and growth happens, the Small Group ministry will need to increasingly involve a higher percentage of the congregation. The Pastor of Small Groups will lead in casting that vision and effectively building this ministry. With an emphasis on personal growth, the groups will also focus on serving the needs of neighbors and the community. This is how Fellowship Alliance Chapel began twenty-eight years ago, and will continue to be the foundation upon which this church will expand.

Candidate Criteria
It is critical that the Pastor of Small Groups be experienced in how to lead and build a large small group ministry in a multi-staff environment. This person must also be an engaging leader who is effective with large audiences and in small settings. He will have strong interpersonal skills with people they have never met while also developing strong friendships. He will agree with the doctrinal beliefs of the church and their partnership with the Christian Missionary Alliance.

Inquiry Process

If you sense that you are the kind of leader described in this profile, we encourage you to submit your resume for consideration. We will handle all candidate information confidentially and will only check references (provide a minimum of five references including at least two subordinates and a peer) when we have requested and received your approval. In addition to sending your resume, please provide responses to the following questions.

1.	Describe your faith-walk with Christ. Tell us how you entered a trusting relationship with Christ and how you are maintaining the vitality of this relationship now. Describe the expressions of ministry that you are currently involved with (in or outside of the church).
2.	Please outline the priorities of your small group ministry philosophy and describe your main goals in the first year serving with Fellowship Alliance Chapel.
3.	Describe your personal growth experienced through significant books you have recently read, hobbies you are involved in, and movies/cultural activities you have attended in the last year.
4.	How are ways you and your wife balance family priorities with the demands and expectations of ministry in a large church? Give examples of challenges your family has faced while committed to ministry.
5.	What is the biggest challenge facing God’s church today and what should be our response to that challenge?
6.	Why are you interested in serving with Fellowship Alliance Chapel as Pastor of Small Groups? Be specific about describing how your ministry calling and competencies align with this ministry opportunity. What are the important factors that lead you to consider this opportunity at this time?

When you provide these answers and your resume, please submit a recent family photo
