He takes guitar and keyboard lessons, along with karate and horseback riding; works at Jason’s Deli and has a GREAT sense of humor. Support person would support in the areas of appropriate social skills; life skills such as healthy meal choices; independence in daily routine; leisure skills; safety skills in community and at home; transportation to occasional activities and participation in activities such as bowling, tennis and utilizing of apartment exercise equipment. Educational training and support will be provided to individual who fills this position. Individual becomes part of an extended team of other professionals: Reading therapist, Speech therapist, Sensory Integration therapist, along with other facilitators who are Denver Seminary students.
