Job Description: A congregation of 400+ is seeking a lead pastor who has a vibrant and maturing relationship with Jesus Christ. The role of the lead pastor is to promote a strong preaching/teaching ministry, authentic worship, positive relational skills, compassionate outreach, Biblical spiritual vision, and direction for the church's mission and programs. He is one who will lead, develop, and partner with the other members of the pastoral staff and lay leadership team. This intergenerational church and its new facility are located in a progressive college town in south-central Kansas.

Candidate Description: He shall have experience in a full time pastoral position and have worked within a multi-staff team. Preference will be given to a candidate with a seminary degree, together with preparation and experience suited to transfer to this position. He shall meet the scriptural qualification for his calling as outline in I Timothy 3:1-7. He shall be a man of established Christian character, sound in faith and doctrine, and should view prayer and God's word as primary resources for personal and ministerial direction. He shall subscribe to and uphold the Mennonite Brethren Confession of Faith
