Endowment
Our endowment has been established for the purpose of underwriting institutional operating expenses (general endowment), funding faculty salaries (endowed chairs), and providing financial aid for students (endowed scholarships). The principle of the endowment is held in perpetuity and is invested each year, and only a percentage of the earnings is spent. Our endowment is composed of different funds to which gifts are welcome. Total Endowment = $6,111,498 as of 6/30/08

As Denver Seminary is building a transformational global community to equip leaders from all over the world to think biblically, live faithfully and lead wisely for a lifetime, we are thrilled to have recently established endowed scholarship funds for Chinese students and Latino/a students. These funds will provide annual scholarships for students with these ethnic origins. As well, an Inner-City Endowed Scholarship Fund has been formed to enable students to be equipped in transforming urban communities by being an example of Christ. Gifts are welcome to each of these funds as well as to the four funds featured above. General Information
Gifts of any size to the general endowment help underwrite the operations of the seminary in perpetuity. To check the value of our endowment each year, please see our [annual report]. Gifts to establish endowed chairs (minimum commitment = $2,000,000) provide the funding for a full-time faculty position. Gifts to form endowed lectureships (minimum commitment = $100,000) ensure we have the resources to bring in top teachers to interact with our students each year. Gifts to establish endowed scholarships (minimum commitment = $20,000) provide scholarships each year according to the parameters outlined in the fund. Finally, gifts to provide graduation or achievement awards or to meet other annual needs are also welcome.
