Stafford Loans
Denver Seminary participates in the Federal Stafford Loan program. Low-interest loan funds are provided by banks which are subsidized by the Federal Government. Students apply through the Denver Seminary Financial Aid Office. Stafford Loans come in two forms: subsidized, which are awarded to the most needy students, and unsubsidized for everyone else. Subsidized loans are interest free to the student while in school, and unsubsidized loans incur a low rate of interest that the student may pay while in school or have added to the amount of principal owed. No payments are made on principal for either type of loan until six (6) months after graduation or termination from the seminary.
